Specializing in Dominican cakes and treats for all occasions!
About Me
My baking journey began in 2020 after my husband and I got engaged. We were having a wedding shower that summer and I began to inquire about getting a cake made for this special occasion. At the time I did not know all the hard work, hours and cost that was involved in making cake, especially a tiered cake, so I thought all these prices were “expensive” as most people do when you give them a quote for a cake. I was very determined to make the cake for our shower, so I practiced and practiced until I got it right! I made a beautiful 2 tier semi naked cake for our special occasion, and it meant the world to be able to say I made it! I did not think anything of this at the time until more occasions arose, and I took it as an opportunity to make a cake “for fun”. I kept posting cakes on my personal Instagram profile until finally about a year later that next summer a family friend asked me if I was selling cakes because my Instagram feed became mostly cakes! I hesitated and doubted myself at first out of fear, but I took the chance, and that summer is when Brendelyn’s Bakes began! The joy that comes from baking a cake or treats for a special occasion is indescribable. It fills my heart to see people’s eyes light up and their reactions. That is what makes me love what I do!

FAQ’s
Do you deliver?
Yes I do local deliveries within 25 mile radius for an additional charge. The cost will be quoted depending on the size of your cake and whether or not you need setup if it’s at a venue.
How much notice do you need for orders?
For 1 tier cakes and any treats I need one week notice, for tiered cakes two weeks notice. The more notice the better, this is just the minimum required.
Do you offer fake/dummy tiers?
Yes! I offer this as an option for those that want the look of a tiered cake but don't necessarily need all the cake a "real" tiered cake would offer. I offer them in many different sizes depending on your request. Please note this still adds an additional cost to your order, however it is less than if it would be a "real" tier.
